' The Dark Knight rises ' won't be long, not even close 4 hours

Every so often there is a mad voice that is collected from various websites, and then things out of hand. I want to delete one for you now, my dear readers of Batman-News.com. You may have met a story about your favorite movie site, stating that the first cut of Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises was four hours long. This item came from an MTV article saying that editing for The Dark Knight Rises was completed "presumably in the form of a rough cut of four hours." Although MTV never intended for this to be treated as news, some sites ran with it, taking the comment to heart. The article has since been corrected, and the author even took to Twitter to clear up the confusion.

The Dark Knight rises is the last Batman film by Christopher Nolan, so I suspect that might be a bit on the long side as he wraps his Batman trilogy. But don't expect to be too much longer than the Dark Knight, it clocked at 152 minutes.
