See the Full 'Dent Act' Document from 'The Dark Knight Rises' World

Introducing the Dent Act. While this isn't much of a viral, there was an authentic-looking City of Gotham document found on the DewGothamCity.com website, found via SuperHeroHype, mentioning the Dent Act. As we all know, Harvey Dent didn't make it past The Dark Knight, and we see his funeral in one of the first trailers. So, in the world of The Dark Knight Rises, the city introduced the "Dent Act" in his name to "bolster the city's campaign against organized crime." The document outlines some plans, and includes a good quote by Gotham Mayor Anthony Garcia. "This Bill is Harvey Dent's legacy and I intend to protect it." See below!

We're not exactly sure where on the DewGothamCity website this was originally found, but SHH says "keep your eyes peeled for more special gems hidden inside the game." Here's the complete Dent Act document:

Can 'Avengers,' 'Dark Knight Rises,' And 'Amazing Spider-Man' Make 2012 The Best Movie Summer Ever?

The movie industry earned $4.3 billion last summer at the U.S. box office to make it the best summer ever (I thought piracy was killing the industry?) but don't expect the mark to last for long. There's a team of superhero movies coming along, and each one could break records.

The Dark Knight Rises and The Avengers look to score over $400 million each and should be boosted with IMAX and 3D premiums. Thus far, The Avengers have already made $218 million overseas. There's also PIXAR's Brave and The Amazing Spider-Man - Pixar is always good for a cash infusion, but we'll have to wait and see if Andrew Garfield can earn as much as Tobey Maguire.

Men in Black 3, Snow White and the Huntsman, Madagascar 3, Battleship, Prometheus, and Ice Age: Continental Drift should all add a good amount to the summer's box office total. So we know that the movies this season will make plenty of money - but will it be the "best" ever in terms of quality?

2012 faces stiff competition from the slate of films released in 1980. That year saw the best Star Wars film (The Empire Strikes Back), The Shining, and a renaissance of comedy: Airplane!, Caddyshack, and The Blues Brothers all hit theaters in roughly one month. Blue Lagoon, Urban Cowboy, My Bodyguard, and Fame were also critical hits.

In 1989, the modern comic book movie era arrived with the dark tone set by Batman. Sequels also paved the way to a good movie summer with Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Lethal Weapon 2. Small releases such as Dead Poets Society, When Harry Met Sally, Do the Right Thing, and Sex, Lies and Videotape keep the year as one to remember.

However, 2012 almost sees a mirror image in the films released in 2008. The Avenger making the most money (in the story and in the box office) debuted with Iron Man, and Dark Knight cemented Christopher Nolan as the master of the Caped Crusader. Pixar's Wall-E made lack of dialogue cool again, and Sex and the City finally made the big screen.

We're positive that the summer of 2012 will make the most money, but we'll have to wait and see if 2012 can stack up as the best movie summer ever. Avengers is already getting great reviews, so it's off to a good start.

She remembers, "about an hour at the meeting, he said,"It's Catwoman!"and I went,"Oh, no, I play this bad"." I thought that they would be back on this character, because the performance of Michelle was so iconic.

You may have met a story about your favorite movie site, stating that the first cut of Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises was four hours long. This item came from an MTV article saying that editing for The Dark Knight Rises was completed "presumably in the form of a rough cut of four hours." Although MTV never intended for this to be treated as news, some sites ran with it, taking the comment to heart. The article has since been corrected, and the author even took to Twitter to clear up the confusion.

The Dark Knight rises is the last Batman film by Christopher Nolan, so I suspect that might be a bit on the long side as he wraps his Batman trilogy. But don't expect to be too much longer than the Dark Knight, it clocked at 152 minutes.

"TDKR' tickets on sale now, ' the hunger games' on sale in February"

Do not all at the checkout! Tickets are already a hot commodity for the Dark Knight rises to seven months out, and they know on sale since December, as some sneaky fans. In addition, a press release from Lionsgate came announced that tickets for its eagerly awaited the hunger games, Director: Gary Ross will be on 22 February in the sale by Jennifer Lawrence. Today, 74. annual hunger games arriving exactly 74 days is above.

Since we have a while games awaiting the hunger, for those who desperately try to your TDKR tickets are now preserved, the info is here. As far as we can tell, IMAX offers for sale in the big cities, including the AMC Lincoln Square 13 in New York, the Metreon 16 in Los Angeles, San Francisco and AMC CityWalk midnight various theaters already have. I've also heard that the IMAX rave in LA also has for sale, they. However, I would check your local theaters (on Fandango/movie tickets) how fans midnight IMAX tickets since last December have the year purchase. I heard also that offered some theatre tickets the night of the operation early bird IMAX prologue sneak. Suffice it to say they are for sale already, if you find they are next IMAX Theater.

I am purchase this a bit uncertain early for a movie that doesn't come up to 20 July. Who is to say that they do not decide what 7 PM performances add to earlier that night? Or what if they choose, push-up the entire release date to Thursday due to all the excitement. Or what happens when some theater a trilogy performed by back IMAX screenings, culminating in the midnight premiere in any case. There are too many options and too much that is not set in stone carved this far out. It's kinda crazy these cinemas are also sell them first without know the answers to these questions. Of course, everyone says that you always can return cards if it is a change that is certainly a possibility, so why not your system with pre-sales just for the hell of it anyway fill?

For those interested in the hunger Games tickets comes this film much earlier, from 23 March this spring. I am really very excited to see this, and if Lionsgate plays all its cards right (and Gary Ross has a great movie), they have on their hands a great franchise. Can't wait!

Catwoman of Anne Hathaway inspired by Hedy Lamarr

New Catwoman Anne Hathaway has based its performance in the last film of Batman on Hedy Lamarr, the movie star glamour of the 1940s that first inspired the character.

The Devil Wears Prada star is the last actress to take the role of the Caped Crusader feline nemesis, following the footsteps of Julie Newmar, Eartha Kitt, and Michelle Pfeiffer, next Dark Knight it increases by Christopher Nolan.

Hathaway has now revealed she returned to the roots of the character for his portrait, based his performance on the legend of Hollywood end Lamarr, who was cited as inspiration for Catwoman by comics Bob Kane.

She tells the Los Angeles Times, "I know it sounds strange, but his breathing is extraordinary." It takes these breaths long, deep, repairman and exhales slowly. There is a shot of the exhalant ecstasy (film, 1933) in a cigarette and I probably take five breaths during his one exhales. So I began working on my breathing much. »

Hathaway also admits that she is not appreciated by diving in such a famous role as each actress played Catwoman has the character their own unique stamp.

It adds: "what comes before is not limited or even affect this new version." It does not affect me because each Catwoman - and this is true in comics — it is defined by the context of the city of Gotham created around it... Catwoman of Michelle Pfeiffer was informed by Tim Burton Gotham and Eartha Kitt was informed by Gotham of Adam West.

"It live in all that is the reality of the world and all that is Gotham.".

Co-creator of Bane Graham Nolan gives his thoughts on the release of The Dark Knight Rises

Cinewebradio interviewed Graham Nolan (no relation with Director Christopher Nolan), the co-creator of Bane. Nolan collaborated often with Chuck Dixon, co-creator of Bane. Nolan was asked to peak of Bane in popularity after being chosen as the main villain in The Dark Knight Rises, and what he thought about what he's seen so far. Here are some excerpts from the interview (translated from French), courtesy of Comic Book Movies:
Could you tell us about the creation of this character?
Bane was created to be the ultimate villain able to break down the Batman. Had to be smart, powerful and brutal. Chuck and I have discussed many aspects of character before you set the pencil on paper and designed him.
Did you know that Bane had such an impact legacy Batman?
We knew that he would be important in the history of Knightfall, but had no idea that he would reach the popularity today.
2012 will be the year of Bane, Christopher Nolan has decided who would be the new villain in the next movie (The Dark Knight Rises). You can see the first images and trailers … What do you think of Bane's look?
I like what I see so far. I understand the need to change certain things for a movie. The Batman costume from the film is not that of the comic. It is more important to get the right character.
(If you saw the prologue of The Dark Knight Rises) What do you think of Tom Hardy as Bane? (It seems that many people have had trouble understanding him!)
Yes, it's a little difficult, but I'm not going to judge the movie clip with a pre-release. There is a lot of time to optimize the sound clarity and improve if the Director decides that is necessary.
They were called from DC Comics or Christopher Nolan team to work on the character with them?
N.
What do you think of the first two Batman films by Christopher Nolan?
I am one of the few who liked the first one better (Batman Begins).

Strike fire rises map? Stuck off Gotham is? So have we missed something? I feel a huge leap forward as the IMAX-Prolog published right on the edge this weekend, but here we go. Warner of Bros. has included sending was packages to various websites, us, with the Dark Knight rises prey - a badass new bane "fire increases" T-shirt, which comes in a tube wrapped in a map of Gotham City (see photos). The shirt looks good, but the tube has attracted the attention of the Web with sites like ComingSoon and the notes as they dissect viral ComicBookMovie are notes. As far as I can tell, this can be only a gift.
We get one of these hose packages on FS.net HQ today, and I took some pictures (top 2 below). Increases the fire shirt is awesome, I wish it was in my size, but oh well. Came only a box with the card printed, otherwise really nothing special about it. But it might be a spoiler to bane plans, so watch out. Here are a few photos, with tube map reconstruction of CBM at the bottom.

MovieMaker, issue Christopher Nolan has mixed emotions that he completed his final "Batman" film editing after saying goodbye to his performers just before Christmas.

"Shooting on the highly anticipated "The Dark Knight Rises" is complete, and now Nolan is in post-production ready following its release of the summer.

And he admits that his Christmas was tinged with sadness he has done there is good friends with that would never get the chance to work together again.

He tells the Los Angeles Times, "it was very emotional that we have complete figures and say goodbye to Alfred (Michael Caine) for the last time and say goodbye to Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman) and subsequently with Christian (Bale), quite close to the end.".

"Farewell to Batman...". It was a big problem. And with these new characters too, ending with Anne Hathaway, who plays the Catwoman and all these guys. It was very affecting, I must say.
